Bio Highlights
Chris Botta presently
serves as the Mayor of Ramsey. He was elected to a four year term in
2006.
- Botta, age 43, previously served two terms on the Ramsey Borough
Council from 2000 through 2006.
- He has resided on South Franklin Turnpike
in Ramsey since 1995 with his wife, Lisa, and three sons.
- Botta, a Bergen
County native, graduated from Bergen
Catholic High School in Oradell,
NJ in 1985, received his Bachelor's
degree from the College
of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, in 1989, and his law degree
from Fordham University
School of Law in New
York City in 1992.
- Mayor Botta is a practicing
attorney with the law firm of Botta &
Associates, LLC in Ramsey, New Jersey.
- He is the Municipal
Prosecutor in the Borough
of Park Ridge and the Borough of Paramus.
- He also serves as a youth ice hockey and
soccer coach in the Borough of Ramsey.
- He is a parishioner and
Lector at St. Paul
Roman Catholic Church in Ramsey, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
- As
Mayor, he also serves on the Ramsey Library Board,Ramsey Planning
Board and is Chairman of the Ramsey Board of Public Works.
